I don't know if you're like this, but a new month is motivational to me...It's a new beginning and a new opportunity. In reviewing my last month, if I dropped the ball in any areas (um… yes!), it's a new chance this month to take some baby steps forward in progress.
Proverbs 31:13 says, “She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.”
All of our talents and abilities are different, but it's not our abilities that matter most... it's our "willingness" to serve God and others.
I don’t always “feel” like working, but it sure does feel good when I’ve completed a task or job. Ah, the labor itself is such a sweet reward in feeling accomplished and useful.
Here’s a couple of resources to help you with monthly menu planning…
Make a meal with whatever ingredients you have on hand…
This is a useful little app/website. Just add in the ingredients you have on hand to figure out what options you have to make a meal.
Monthly Menu Rotation Planner…
Something I’ve been trying to accomplish, but haven’t quite nailed it down yet… is to create a monthly menu plan that I can rotate each month. This will save time on planning and help me to know what ingredients to consistenly stock when it’s on sale.
I created a fillable PDF monthly rotation menu planner… so you can simply type in what you want in the grey slots and save that version… or fill those slots in and immediately print it out.
What’s up next?
On Wednesday, look out for launching of Mom’s Daily Dose - 30 days of Devotional Thoughts and Journal Prompts. (Bible verses for each day included).
A friend of mine really struggles with menu planning. This is awesome!!
