Snow, Brownies and Hot Chocolate...

Good afternoon,
We are getting a huge bundle of snow and ice here. It’s a nice cozy day (inside)… and so glad that I don’t have to be out in it right now. I made my hubby some hot chocolate and brownies in celebration of the snow. (I might have eaten two of those brownies. haha!)
Also, next week, I will NOT be sending out any newsletters. I’m going to be assisting my mom for a few days to help her in the recovery of her hip replacement surgery.
Change of subject…
I can’t believe it’s February already! Wow!
On February 1st, I read Proverbs chapter one. I, then, wrote this little mini devotional text in my group chat with my three sons….
God loves righteousness, do you?
Psalm 11:7 says, “For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; His countenance doth behold the upright.”
Matthew 5:6 says, “Blessed are they which hunger and thirst after righteousness.”
I want God’s favor and blessings on my life, don’t you?!
One way to avoid “unrighteousness” is not to allow yourself to be influenced by the ungodly, and to learn to say, “No!” to them.
Proverbs 1:10 says, “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.”
And Proverbs 1:15 says, “My son, walk not thou in the way with them refrain thy foot from their path.”
Choose your friends wisely, and above all choose righteousness so that you obtain favor and blessings from God.
