My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good afternoon,
Today is #40 of my journal jot’s issue. I’ve done 40 weeks’ worth so far! Yippee!
Just for fun…below is a recent snapshot of my daily journal. I don’t get fussy with it… and thankfully some pages look much neater than these two, but I just jot down a quote or thought that I have and sometimes I also write entire Bible verses.
I keep it SUPER SIMPLE! AND, writing things down helps us retain the information much better. Five minutes is all you need!
Do you like to journal? If so, please comment and share how you journal… and perhaps what kind of journal book you use, what you like to write, etc.
Well, I’m getting ready to eat some chicken & rice here in just a bit for supper time. It’s nothing fancy, but going to enjoy the moment.
I Thessalonians 5:16 reminds us to “Rejoice evermore.”
I think if I look around me and find little moments and things to be grateful for, I will find myself continually rejoicing, too!
I encourage you today to enjoy those little moments that we might take for granted. I, for one, am extremely thankful for my clothes washer. Wednesdays are my wash day for my own clothes…and well… going to have something to clean to wear tomorrow! Praise the Lord! Ha!
My friend, keep walking in faith,
Rhonda White
