Good afternoon,
It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a journal jot issue… so I was excited to send you one today.
These issues are meant to be quick to read and hopefully an encouragement in your journey of faith.
Yesterday, we had the local tornado sirens going off three different times during the evening, and we went down to the basement all three times.
It was such a comfort that I could send out texts to family and friends to pray with us for safety.
Our little dog, Zoey, quickly learned the tornado drill routine and went hustling downstairs with us for the third time without much extra prompting. LOL
Even when we went back upstairs each time, we would still get alerts on our phones about flash flood warnings going on. So it was quite the eventful evening, but we remained safe and sound, praise God!
I know there are often scary times in our lives, but it truly is a comfort to have brothers and sisters in Christ that we can depend upon to encourage us and pray for us.
