My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good afternoon, Friend,
We have finally turned on our A.C. this week. I’m not sure I’m looking forward to the hot summer months approaching, but I can say that I’m happy it’s finally warm enough for me to go outside and get some yard work done.
I worked a couple of hours outside yesterday evening, and it’s looking a bit better out there, but still have much to do yet. I’m also working on some decluttering and organizing projects in our basement and house.
I can tell that organizing is my “thing” because I’m always so happy and content when I’m organizing. Hahaha!
Grapefruit scent is my new happy place. It makes me smile every single time! (This little bit of information has nothing whatsoever to do with anything else. It’s just a random though of mine. Hee hee!)
Back to business…
You know, there’s a whole lot of concerns among family, friends, and acquaintances. And perhaps there’s a whole lot going on in your personal life as well.
I want to leave you one word of encouragement today…
Things only look “impossible” from our own perspective. God NEVER sees anything as an impossible situation.
Luke 18:27 kjv says, “And he (Jesus) said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Feel free to share a comment or prayer request with me. I’m always ready to listen and pray for you.
Keep walking in faith,
Rhonda White

- Jesus didn’t hold back hard words when needed. Pray for wisdom in how to use your words. There’s a time for compassion, generosity, understanding, and also a time to stand boldly against wrong doing.
“It is doubtful whether GOD can fully use a man until He has hurt him deeply.” - A.W. Tozier
“Many times in our lives, we fail often, we are crumpled by the cares of the world, dirtied by our lust and sinful nature, but we are still valuable to GOD.” - Refreshing Daily in God’s Word, June 2021 (Think about it… A dirty & crumbled up $20 bill STILL has value!)
