My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good afternoon, Friend,
So happy to chat with you today. I have missed communicating with my readers.
I have successfully swept through August with gust! I took a month off from social media and blogging to simply focus on many projects that needed to be done inside my home and outside.
I worked hard to tackle a mountain of tasks, and truthfully, I still have quite a way to go, but so proud of what God graciously gave me the strength to do.
I still have concerns over some health issues and pray that I can stay focused with writing once again. I can often muster up the strength to do some physical projects when I don’t feel the best, but sitting down at a desk, while quietly trying to focus and write is a much greater challenge when I don’t feel well.
In saying that, I’m sticking with my current motto, “Do the next best thing!”
If you’ve known me for a while, you might also know that AUTUMN is my favorite season of the year! So, I’ve already done some minor decorating for FALL.
I never do a huge amount of decorating since I don’t have the patience and energy for that type of thing, but I do like to do sprinkles of season changes in my dining room.
I shall end here with a quick reminder — Keep your eyes on JESUS! We are indeed all facing challenges in life. But WHO we walk with during those challenges makes a huge difference!
Stay in the WORD!
“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” - Psalm 119:18 kjv
Keep walking in faith,

If you want to know JESUS more, study the vine. (John 15:5)
True BLESSINGS all start with RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Learn to ENJOY the forgiven life. (Don’t let Satan hound you about the past!)
“If you have made a mess of your life, GOD can take the mess and restore it to that which is useful and beautiful.” - Dr. Mike Rouse
“Worldliness is seeing the physical and not recognizing the spiritual that it represents. It’s seeing the physical only, and not looking beyond to see the spiritual.” - Dr. Dennis Corle (Lord, give me spiritual eyes!)
“I have been serving GOD for over sixty-five years, and I have never faced anything that GOD doesn’t have PROMISES to cover.” - Dr. Guy Goodell
*QUESTION: What is your perspective in a current challenge you are facing? (Keep a righteous perspective. Can you find some Bible verses to give you a more positive perspective? Who is someone that faced a similar challenge…how did they walk through it in faith?)
