My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good afternoon,
Happy New Year!
Well, I put away all my Christmas decor. I usually declutter my Christmas storage box before putting my decorations back inside. That way I can see what was NOT used and determine if I need to keep it any longer.
This helps me keep organized, reminds me of what I have available, and keeps items to a minimum. Each year, I tend to find a few things that are ready to be released from the “White” house. Haha!
We had one extra set of Christmas lights that will now be needed since our old ones gave out.
The only things I have left out are the Christmas cards I received. In the past, I cut some pretty pieces out from them and pasted them in my journal. This year I saw that some people cut them out in the shapes of bookmarks and punched a hole on one end and then tied a pretty ribbon on it.
Wouldn’t those be great to hand out for the next Christmas season?
Well, I have chosen my new WORD for 2022… as I actually revealed to you previously. (You all were the first to know!)
The word I chose this year is REJOICE. It's so easy to complain, but we can turn that around to create a habit of looking for reasons to rejoice.
Keep walking in faith… and REJOICE in 2022!
