My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good morning, Friend!
What made me giggle yesterday was a private message, from a male, that I saw while browsing through my Instagram message requests. I didn’t open it, but I saw the headline, “Hello dear.”
Um… you are NOT allowed to call me “dear” if I don’t know you! And especially if you’re a male! Haha!
Foreign spammers seem to flood our inboxes and private messages with these endearment terms. They are seeking our attention…whether it be to scam us for money or whatever else may be the underlying motive.
I think GOD gets a lot of spammer inquiries as well. Some claim to know and love GOD, but yet are never found in church where God’s Word is preached.
Most of God’s spammers are those seeking money, help, wants, needs, etc. But, GOD is not paying attention to these floods of spamming requests… He’s waiting for their first call of repentance to salvation. This is the first prayer for which God pays direct heed.
“Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” - John 9:31 kjv
I feel so blessed to be a child of God and to have direct access to my Heavenly Father. I can use terms of endearment, and He knows me as His child — He knows my name!
I am His and He is mine! He hears my prayers. I’m not on the losing side when I yield my life to Him! I’m blessed daily! Praise the Lord!
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” - Psalm 68:19 kjv
Keep walking in faith,
Rhonda White
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” - Psalm 51:10 kjv
