Seven Journaling Jots to Inspire You #Week 14
What's my real talent and what do I want to be when I grow up?
My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good afternoon, Friend,
Another week is flying by…and before you know it, we’ll be sweltering in the middle of summer.
Pondering last week’s question… What could you talk about for 30 minutes without preparation!
I’m a lady of few words. I’d rather sit and listen to someone else talk than talk myself. LOL!
But, if you get me on the right topic, I can be hard to shut up. Hahaha!
I would say that I love to talk about organizing, decluttering, and ways to simplify your life or save money. I could probably talk a long while about eating healthy.
I could also discuss for a long while about blogging and using WordPress software for content management. I also am very knowledgeable about online marketing since I’ve worked on several websites years ago when I first started working online.
What’s my real talent?
Ummm… When it comes right down to it, I’m actually one of those “Jack of all trades but master of none.” HA! Yes, this describes me the best. Hee hee!
So, what do I want to be when I grow up? A gracious woman that fears the Lord!
Proverbs 11:16a says, “A gracious woman retaineth honour:”
The dictionary says
gracious
means:
courteous, kind, pleasant (In Christian belief) showing Divine grace.
And Proverbs 31:30 should be our motto: “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.”
Please don’t get so hung on talents or the lack of talent. I do get hung up on those things sometimes, but talent is NOT what GOD is looking for… He’s looking for yielded, faithful people to follow and serve Him.
Keep walking in faith,
Rhonda White

QUESTION: How do you prevent yourself from being deceived? Satan’s chief weapons are lies and deception. (That’s how he destroyed the first home.) Answer: By reading the TRUTH (God’s Word) daily. It’s so important. Through the Holy’s Spirit’s help, you and I can perceive those red flags of deceitfulness.
