My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good morning, my friend,
Ever have a day that took a drastic nosedive? The emotional backlash can feel as if you were side-swiped and hit by a semi-truck.
Since you’re not living in a protective bubble wrap, I’m sure you’ve been accosted with such an experience. ((Hugs to you, my friend.))
This morning feels a bit like that. But it’s not without a positive outlook — GOD is ALWAYS in charge!
What are your go-to Bible verses when things get prickly? I suggest you choose a couple of “emergency” ones to keep on hand and ready to pull out in time of need.
Three encouraging Bible verses for your emergency kit are the following:
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” - Isaiah 26:3 kjv
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” - Romans 8:28 kjv
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” - Philippians 4:13 kjv
God can work things out for you and I, no matter the circumstances…and He can give you peace and strength to walk through those trials.
Keep Walking in FAITH,
Rhonda White, CWM
~ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. - Psalms 51:10 kjv

7 Journal Jots: (Use these ideas for your own journal or ministry)
You NEVER do your BEST work at the last minute. Start early on a project so that you have sufficient time to do it right and to do it well.
Begin EVERYDAY by focusing on one question: What would Jesus do? DAILY make yourself available to GOD with the purpose of honoring Him with your life.
EVERYTHING worth ANYTHING is found in GOD’s will.
GOD doesn’t need PERFECT people — He just needs YIELDED people.
You’ll NEVER learn FAITH in comfortable surroundings.
ANYTHING that GOD has ever done, He can do AGAIN! (Reading God’s Word increases your faith! I LOVE reading all of God’s miracles in the O.T and Jesus’ wondrous miracles in the gospels. How could your faith NOT be boosted while reading your Biblical history?!)
QUESTION: In what ways do I make myself available for God?
Feeling like you’re not so talented? GOD is NOT looking for ABILITY but DEPENDABILITY!
