My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good afternoon,
God can sure help us save money, especially when we give to Him as we should.
Malachi 3:10 (KJV) says, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
Tithing (giving 10% of our income) to God is the way we help provide for the needs of the Lord’s House. BUT… we also get the pouring out of God’s blessing when we do it.
Who doesn’t want more of God’s BLESSINGS?!
I experience that on a frequent basis. Last week, I was needing to order something important online. I was just about to finish through with my needed order, but for some reason, I remember deciding to do one last piece of research about something related.
That’s when my eyes came across a much better deal, which saved me money and was from a trusted company that I already had an account with. I had no idea that they offered the products that I needed.
There are those little things like this that put money back into our pocket…and that, my friend, is God pouring out His blessings on us!
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38 kjv
Find opportunities to give!
Keep walking in faith,
Rhonda White

7 Journal Jots: (Use these ideas for your own journal or ministry)
“Repetitive complaining will attract more things for you to complain about. Repeated gratitude will attract more things for you to be thankful about.” - Social Media (NOTE: I’m not into the law of attraction theories, but I do think our mindset and habits are important. Learning the art of gratitude will cause us to look for more things to be grateful about and look on the positive perspective.)
Be a witness every day — Tell the world that JESUS is the way!
“We must be determined to be salt and light… We must be determined not to give up in the face of difficult days when as time passes we become more and more the minority. We must occupy until Jesus comes.” - Refreshing Daily in God’s Word, Oct. 2021
“We must look into God’s looking glass every day to become more like Him.” “(The Word of God) will transform our minds, our hearts, and our will. This means we will think more like our Heavenly Father. We will desire what He desires. We will surrender our will to His will. The mirror of God’s Word is what causes this metamorphosis in our lives.” - Dr. Rick Gravely
Self-examination is vital in order for us to know who we really are. (See point above… the mirror of God’s Word will help us identify who and what we are.)
TRUE DISCIPLESHIP: “Placing your time, talent and total resources at the disposal of Jesus Christ are marks of a true disciple.” - Pastor Randy Engesetter
*QUESTION: What problem do you have right now? There is NOTHING too big or hard for GOD to handle. “Behold, I am the LORD, the GOD of all flesh; is there any thing too hard for me?” - Jeremiah 32:27 KJV
