My weekly personal note:
(Skip down to the weekly journal jots if you prefer.)
Good afternoon, Friend,
It’s been raining here for the last couple of days, and I LOVE it. It’s cooled things back down, and my tomato plants are loving the pleasure as well.
My dog, Zoey, doesn’t like rain so much, but as long as there is no thundering and lightening, she does pretty well.
The only downside to all this rain, is that I may get behind on yardwork again. BUT…I’m enjoying the peaceful moment. [big grin]
There’s something about rain that slows us down a bit…and the sounds of the raindrops bring about a nice, soothing slumber.
Job said, “I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:” (Job 5:8-10)
Let’s see GOD in EVERYTHING. He’s the one who sends the rain… He’s the one who does GREAT things as well as the little things.
My son shared a photo of a double rainbow he saw earlier this week. He mentioned God’s promise…. It is indeed our beautiful reminder that God keeps every single promise and word.
Enjoy the little moments in life. Each day is a gift from God.
Keep walking in faith,
Rhonda White
