“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” I Peter 5:7 KJV
Day 3: Clear Away Worries
Do you identify with being a worrier? Worry holds us paralyzed in fear. When we're stuck in a fearful place, we can't move on to the next phase of our personal and spiritual development.
Spring is a time of change and growth. Let’s pretend to think of life as a “what if” fairy tale for a moment…
What would happen if, instead of doing its necessary and important work, the entire planet that we live on remained stuck in a fearful, worrisome place.
What if nature was too afraid to let spring come because of worrying that the flowers would not turn out as pretty as last year?
What if the trees worried that if they made fruit, the animals would come and take it all away to eat?
What if the fish worried that the ocean might dry up?
What if mothers never let their children explore the outside, learn from experiences, and grow in their surroundings?
What if all those “would-be” investors worried too much about their money and never took any risks in investing in small businesses that needed funding to grow?
Worrying holds us back from taking opportunities and growing. It gets us nowhere.
If you're a chronic worrier, think of all you could do and be if you just learned to enjoy the present instead of obsessing on the future.
Journal Exercise: Let Go of Worry.
For today's journaling exercise, make a list of all the things that plague your worried mind.

Recognize that your worries are your imagination running wild and are not profitable.
Recognize that worry is sin and a lack of trust in GOD, who can protect and supply your every need! (“for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” – Romans 14:23b KJV)
Recognize that worry steals you from being in the present moment. If something hasn't happened yet, why are you letting worry rob your peace?
Set Your Intention:
Now that you have a clear picture of what you may routinely worry about, let’s prepare a plan to win over worry instead of just letting it continue to steal your peace and joy.
Take action against the things that worry and perplex you. Practice putting your trust and faith into God each time your worries come back.
At first, that may take several times each day, but with practice, you will begin learning to do it on autopilot.
Side note: Sometimes worry can be due to our lack of planning.
The Proverbs 31 woman was a hard worker and prepared diligently for her household’s needs for each season.
Proverbs 31:21 says, “She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.”
So, let’s first determine what is causing our worries and if we can create a plan of action to settle those areas.
Next, if your worries are not due to lack of planning, nor anything otherwise that what you can do on your part, let’s build our faith until it’s bigger than our fears!
Let’s give our worries over to God to handle. Let Him behind the driver’s wheel.
May I encourage you to read your Bible faithfully every day and utilize Bible verses that will encourage and build your faith?!
